Marketing ideas for marketers who hate boring
The best marketing ideas come from marketers who live it.
That’s what this newsletter delivers.
The Marketing Millennials is a look inside what’s working right now for other marketers. No theory. No fluff. Just real insights and ideas you can actually use—from marketers who’ve been there, done that, and are sharing the playbook.
Every newsletter is written by Daniel Murray, a marketer obsessed with what goes into great marketing. Expect fresh takes, hot topics, and the kind of stuff you’ll want to steal for your next campaign.
Because marketing shouldn’t feel like guesswork. And you shouldn’t have to dig for the good stuff.

🦄 Creator Spotlight — “Coffee Runs Turned Commerce Empire”
Chris Olsen
On June 14, the 26-year-old TikTok staple behind the viral “coffee delivery” series hopped from Starbucks runs to store shelves: his new canned cold-brew line Flight Fuel landed in 1 ,200 Target locations and on Amazon. The launch Reel pulled 8.4 M views in 24 h, while #FlightFuel unboxings hit 40 M views across Shorts and Reels. Early sell-through reports show two SKUs already out-of-stock online; Target has rushed a second pallet wave for June 28.
Our take: when a creator’s signature bit becomes a physical product, the conversion funnel writes itself—CPG brands eyeing beverage collabs, the barista bar has been raised.

🏆 Reader of the Week
![]() Aimee Song | Aimee Song (OG Fashion Blogger → Affiliate Queen)🌉 Background: L.A.-based style creator, 7 M IG followers, early LTK power-user. 👑 Achievement: Thanks to Pinterest’s new LTK auto-cross-posting (launched June 13), Aimee’s “Maldives Capsule” pins drove $1.2 M in GMV within three days—her best affiliate spike since 2022. |
Here is the story …
Pinterest now syndicates top-performing LTK images straight into the home feed with built-in product tags. Aimee seized the beta by uploading 30 look-book shots styled around linen sets and shell jewelry. Within 48 hours she logged 92 K outbound clicks (3× her IG swipe-ups) and sold out two Zara dresses.
Brands felt the jolt: Revolve overnight-restocked the linen blazer, while Mejuri green-lit a co-designed shell-earring collab slated for August. Aimee then turned the momentum into a 15-minute YouTube vlog on “pin-first styling,” embedding her LTK links and snagging another $80 K in commissions.

Why it matters: platform-powered syndication plus evergreen search traffic can eclipse feed-algorithms—fashion labels hungry for ROI should pin early, pin often.
Did You Know? Snap now counts 400 K+ registered Lens developers worldwide—fueling the weekly drops inside its new Lens Plus tier.
